Will you join us?
Join us as we walk for the 1 in 100 children and adults impacted by congenital heart disease (CHD) in Oklahoma City. The Adult Congenital Heart Association is devoted to supporting the full lifespan of the millions of people impacted by CHD.
The ACHA Walk for 1 in 100 empowers all of those who were born with a heart defect, their loved ones and the medical community that cares for them. We’re here to empower adults to take an active role in their cardiac care, to educate parents on the lifelong specialized care their young son or daughter will need, and to support young adults through the transition to adult CHD care. We are here for the person with a newly diagnosed heart defect, as well as the patient who’s seen it all, and everything in between.
The funds raised through the ACHA Walk for 1 in 100 supports ACHA’s important mission of improving and extending the lives of the millions born with heart defects through education, advocacy and research. The OKC Walk for 1 in 100 will support the outreach and education we are doing right here in Oklahoma, including local outreach and educational events, partnering with OU Medical Center to provide educational resources, and building awareness of CHD and ACHA.
