2019 Denver Walk for 1 in 100

Post-Surgery T-Rex Arms

Our team name is inspired by a inside joke we started making about our own tight and weak arms after adult open heart surgery and how little we could do with them.  They reminded us of a T-Rex dinosaur's arms!  :)

Our enthusiasm and gratitude for the Adult Congenital Heart Association grew this past year as we found out what it was like to have heart surgery as an adult with CHD- Recovery was quite different than our childhood memories!

We were SO glad we reached out to the Adult Congenital Heart Association and connected with their Heart to Heart Ambassador program for advice and support during preparation for surgery and throughout recovery.  ACHA is a fantastic resource!

Our Team even have a silly dance we can do at the Walk, especially if we can get our hands on the Hawaii Five-0 theme song...

We can't wait to give back to Adult Congenital Heart Association this year, because it's been a vital part of our journey and helped us in SO many ways.

We hope you join our team by clicking on the button on this page & following the prompts to register.  (Glad to teach you the T-Rex Arms dance!)

Thank you so much for your love & support!
