I am a pediatric cardiac nurse that works with children with congenital heart disease. Thanks to research over the last few decades, survival rates for those born with CHD have increased and many make it to adulthood! Medical care for adults with CHD is different than typical adult healthcare, and there is ongoing research to help provide the best care to our CHD children that have grown up.
