Welcome to My Personal Page
When I began my career as a pediatric cardiologist over 25 years ago and started caring for children born with complex heart malformations, there were relatively few adult survivors living with these conditions. With improvements in medical and surgical care, the vast majority of children born today with congenital heart disease are now able to live full lives. What a gratifying journey it has been to watch my young patients grow and thrive! However, as patients get older, they often require more specialized medical care. Yet, most adult cardiologists have no experience with these unique conditions. This is why a new medical specialty was created: Adult Congenital Heart Disease.
I am proud to be one of the first physicians in the country to be board certified in Adult Congenital Heart Disease, and to work in a program fully accredited by the ACHA, so we can provide the highest quality of care throughout patients' lifetimes.
I'm reaching out to ask for your support. How can you help?
1. Join my team and walk with me on September 18 in West Hartford at Blue Back Square (or create a team of your own!) to raise awareness about cardiac defects
2. Make a donation to my team to support education, research, and advocacy
3. Share this event with your friends and family and encourage them to participate
Your kindness and generosity are so appreciated!
P.S. If you have trouble accessing the donation links from your phone, try it from your computer.
