Thank you for visiting The Amazing Team Caleb Walk for 1 in 100 fundraising page! We fundraise and walk every year for our team namesake, Caleb. Caleb named our walk team after The Amazing Race. Living life with a diagnosis of a congenital heart defect/disease (CHD) is much like running The Amazing Race, it is a life long race requiring strength and determination along the way.

Caleb himself was diagnosed with a CHD called complete heart block prior to his birth. When Caleb was less than 24 hours old, he underwent surgery and received a cardiac pacemaker to manage his CHD. Caleb underwent a second surgery to renew his pacemaker in 2015. Although Caleb is a happy, healthy, and active 10 year old, he will likely undergo a third surgery in the near future.
