Xavier is my 1 in 100.

Thankfully, due to medical advancements and programs such as ACHA that support Congenital Heart Disease research, Xavier can be more than just a statistic. Despite being born with severe congenital heart disease and having undergone six major surgeries (including four open heart), as well as countless appointments, procedures, and daily medications, Xavier is living a full life that any 9-year-old should have.

Please consider making a tax deductible contribution to support my fundraising efforts on behalf of The Adult Congenital Heart Association. All funds raised benefit CHD research and programs. In addition, the ACHA has teamed up with the San Diego Mended Little Hearts Chapter for this CHD awareness walk. 40% of the total funds raised by Team MLH - San Diego will be given to the San Diego Mended Little Hearts Chapter to support their Bravery Bag program. During the past year, MLH has provided 150 of these care bags to CHD families in the CVICU at Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego. Your support means that more families can receive a MLH Bravery Bag and a reminder that they are not alone in their CHD journey.
